Some people desire to provide the Study Bible inside a care package with other
goodies and supplies soldiers like to receive. The NIV Starting Point Study
Bible is available at most Christian retailers, including Family Christian
Stores, Lifeway Stores, Mardell's, and many other local independent Christian
bookstores. If you would like ideas on items to provide soldiers in care
packages, feel free to email me for the latest list of most desired items. The
number one requested item of all time is any food item home-made. Brownies,
soft cookies (hard cookies shatter in shipping), breads, etc. Also, feel free
to include a snapshot of yourself and a hand-written note with your return
address. Many soldiers like to write thank-you notes to people who send care
packages to express their appreciation. All care packages can be addressed to
my attention also (address above). I seek out soldiers who would appreciate a
Bible Care Package, hand it off to them, snap their pictures with it and email
the picture back to the donor so they can see the package arrived, and to which
soldier it was given.
